"Hurry up!" I yelled back at Honeypaw. "I still don't think it's a good idea..." She mumbled. "They're our parents!" Cloudpaw scolded, "They'll understand our powers!" We were meeting our parents on a hunting patrol, and they were going to tell them about their powers. I admit, I was very jealous. If your brother could teleport, and your sister could read minds... Wouldn't you think that wasn't fair? I spotted a mouse and something seemed to click in my mind. It had never done that before, but The mouse had stopped, and I killed it no problem. I stood up and turned to them to show it off. They had stopped. "What?" I asked. They seemed to stare past me. "Hello-o..." I waved a paw in front of Honeypaw's face. It was like time had frozen. "Wait..." I said to myself. What about that 'click' That happened in my head before I caught the mouse. I 'clicked' in my head again, and things started moving again. Honeypaw and Cloudpaw walked past me. I picked up the mouse again and turned towards them. They stopped and turned towards me. "When did you get that mouse?" Cloudpaw asked. "I... Umm... Just caught it." I studdered. "Oh," Honeypaw said, "Okay." We walked on to meet our parents at Shining River. What did I just do?
I ran through the forest with a mouse in my mouth. I could smell the blood over the mouse's scent. Then I saw the she-cat again. She was running towards me. The yowing from behind her grew louder then stopped. The yellow eyes pierced my black fur. I dropped the mouse and darkness overtook me. "Ravenpaw!" I awoke to see a spotted tom standing over me. "Did you have the dream again?" I had been having it for about a moon. I nodded and left the barn. He followed me out. "What do you think it means?" He asked. I shrugged and lapped up water from the cold stream near the barn. "She looks an awful lot like your..." My voice trailed off. I hoped he wouldn't ask me to finish my sentence. "My what?" Knowing my luck... he had to ask. "Nothing" I turned and padded into the forest.
